February Favourites

At the end of each month I'll be blogging about the new products I have discovered recently or any golden oldies that have made a comeback into my daily routine.

I'm a bit late with February's post but the short month caught me by surprise!

Heres a little something for you all to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon...

The Wet Brush

I'm a big lover of the tangle teaser as I use it on myself and for my job. I was a bit weary that The Wet Brush wasn't going to live up to the great things I had heard - BUT it is amazing! I have been asking my hair clients to try it out to see what their opinion is. They cant believe how easy this brush helps to detangle the dreaded knottiness of freshly washed hair. I think it definitely has the upper hand on the Tangle Teezer as the handle is extremely helpful to grip when your hands are wet or are covered in hair products!! No more tangle teezers flying across the room!

Aromatherapy Associates Nourishing Face Oil

This was a bit of a cheeky purchase at a Hair and Beauty fair and I'm so pleased I treated myself to it. I have been wanting to try out a facial oil for a little while now and with it being winter and my skin feeling a little sorry for itself I thought now was the perfect time. Morning and night I apply 1 to 2 drops to my skin after cleansing and it has turned my skin in to the softest it has ever felt!! My foundation has also been going on much smoother as those stubborn dryer sections on my face have completely vanished. It smells amazing and anyone who feels they need an extra injection of moisture it's a must try! Enjoy!

Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt Brush

This brush has been on my wish list for quite some time having fallen in love with the Powder and Sculpt palette. The brush is the perfect shape to fit under your cheekbones making it easy to achieve bronzed and contoured definition. This brush also picks up just the right amount of product keeping your morning makeup routine nice and simple.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I was one of the last to try this out of my friends when it was a freebie on the front of Elle Magazine. They kept telling me I must try it and I'm so glad I did! I'm not usually a fan of the plastic mascara wand but this ones a gooden! I'm not sure if it is because it's the mini version but it's great at getting right into the bottom of your lash line and spreads them out evenly giving you the perfect fluttery lashes !

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Sticks in Dark Chocolate Matte and Bad Bronze

These I have been loving since last year but had taken a break from my daily makeup routine. They are creamy and so easy to apply if you want a quick smokey eye. I've been using the dark brown pencil as an eye liner and smudging with a brush to create a smokey line along the lashes. Once dry it does not budge all day! The bronze shadow stick is a beautiful colour and great for using before eyeshadow as a base or on its own blended out. It's also very similar to Charlotte Tilburys Colour Chameleon in Bronzed Garnett if you don't want to splurge.

Let me know if you give any of these a try :)
